really a fascinating book by the recording engineer who recorded REVOLVER, SPLHCB , LIB and ABBEY RD.

He was there and offers insider info on the FabFour...starting as an 15 y.o. at EMI and working his way up the chain ....he got so fed up that he quit the Beatles in the middle of the White Album...but really a down to earth guy..Geoff Emmerick ...he also designed the Apple recording studio (they mention the speakers as Altec in passing)

library has it and its a great read ....didnt know that Alan Parsons was an asst engineer b4 heading out on his own....recommended
Geoff Emerick, Beatles Chief Recording Engineer, Dies at 72
Other than George Martin, he was the behind-the-scenes brains that helped shape the band's sound — particularly, the weird ones.

Fine guitar work by Garry Hagberg and Lee Ritenour. Is this guitarist Garry Hagberg the author, professor for philosophy and aesthetics? Anybody knows?
Listen to "Phunkin'" B2. Funky philosophy...

Krautrock from Hannover. Heavy words leading into the songs: very very important lyrics in "denglish" (=german Krautrock english language by Frank Bornemann). And at the end of every song: "Dankeschööön!!". Still funny after all these 40 years...

OST, Blow Up, 1966, Time Warner USA, 4M122

2002 reissue. Music composed, conducted and played by Herbie Hancock. The vibe of swinging London in a jazz mode. Freddie Hubbard, Ron Carter and Jack DeJohnette.
"Stroll on" by "The Yardbirds". Let's destroy some guitars...
