Went down to Crossroads Music today and picked up 9 Lp's... pix mebbe to follow.
The different part of this trip took place when a photog came in and asked the clerk if he could use the store for shooting models ... ....answer was YES and in came 5 or 6 leggy 20 somethings , all in minis and boots ...they walked around posing with the vinyls (must be stylish ??) and seemed peeved that most customers did not take much notice ... did hear one ask "How do you get the music out of those things" ??
hauled mine out to the truck and the girls were out there next to me changing clothes in the parking lot .
a somewhat different experience ..
Canby record show is next Sunday. (prolly not so many girls in scimpies there tho)

a $3 grab at HPB today, man I like this record. An upgrade over my noisy 1969 issue which I've included here as the 2nd label picture.

Victor Feldman - Secret Of The Andes
(1982, Natilus) SuperDisc Direct-to-Disc recording
a 50 cent pickup from the HPB clearance shelf last Sunday. a really nice recording. long pauses between tracks as these were laid down "live" and fed through the recording console direct to a cutting lathe.

John Stewart - Signals Through the Glass
(1968, Capitol) Radio station copy
Stewart's first solo LP. The vocals are shared with his wife, Buffy Ford. a typo on the record label --> "John Steward".
