Peter Hinnen, Im Tal der blauen Berge, 1963, Ariola Germany, 10 392 AT 45rpm

Hard stuff for real American cowboys: Swiss country/rocknroll/pop singer Peter Hinnen from Zürich shows Switzerland's typical versality qualities: perfect visual appearance of "cowboy outfit".
Please note this very very rare and beautiful 1962 "Framus Star Bass" guitar from Germany. Look at the futuristic headstock in combination with the rare rectangular tailpiece! Anybody owns such a beauty like this? Bill Wyman's Framus Star Bass was not exactly the same type. For me it's not possible to find a picture of the same model on www!!!!
Oh, by the way: Happy Birthday to 726 years old Switzerland!

In fact this is a Rockpile album by Edmunds/Bremner/Williams/Lowe. A word like "Jesus" in the title of a Rock LP means less sales. Only for USA?????? So they changed the title for the US-issue. Different back cover for UK with 3 glass swans representing the 3 musicians not shown on front cover. Further differences concerning the songs "Shake and pop", "Heart of city" live version and dropping "Rollers show".
Some of the finest guitars are shown by Lowe on front cover: anybody knows this red electric solid body guitar model with opulent metal plated front?

Jimmy Buffett, Riddles In The Sand, 1984, MCA US, MCA 25075

Gulf and western music with the best studio musicians.
Reggie Young, Billy Walker, Emory Gordy.
Listen to the beautiful B5 "La vie dansant", which was superbly covered in 1991 by Aaron Neville.
