    My greatest loss in life

    Hello friends.

I am very sorry to inform you that my beloved wife died last night, 57 and 1/2 years only.

I feel that I must inform you about this, and that is the reason I don't have been very active lately, and probably will not be very active in the near future.

    My Dear Friend, Rolf,

I am so very sorry to hear about your sweet Wife's passing! But, I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your phone call about it. It's at times like these when friends band together to help one another, in many ways. Though I know the miles between us are huge, please know that you, Rolf, are in my thoughts, and in my prayers, and will be for a long time to come!! As I told you on the phone, you don't "get over" things like this; you just "get used" to dealing with them. She will always be with you in spirit, and as far as I'm concerned, you WILL see her again, when your time has come!! My only advice to you is to keep the faith, and do what you believe she would want you to do, which is to stay healthy, happy, and productive. I'm sure she would have wanted that for you, as you would want that for her.

Thank you, again, Rolf, for your call, and for your note here at LH. Though many of us will never meet in person, we have been drawn together in a common love of things JBL, and I truly believe that this JBL bridge binds us together for other things, as well. Take care, my Friend, and know that you have many people thinking of you, and praying for you, all over the world. May God bless her soul, and you, too, Rolf, with peace, comfort, and strength.

    Sincerely, your Friend,
    Mark

    Dear Rolf ,

I'm very sorry to hear of your sad loss.

Having just lost a close family member to cancer last monday, I feel for you deeply . What has helped myself and my family to come to terms with the grief has been the beautiful memories she has left us with . I wish you well and that you find comfort wherever you find strength !

I can't do any better than that- surround yourself with people that love you, and take all the time you need before you come back to us here.

    Hello, Rolf,

Thank you, so very much, for posting that wonderful photo of you and your lovely wife. I had seen her before, from a picture you sent to me last year. But, I am reminded of how lovely she was, and can easily see the love between the two of you, in that photograph!! I will look forward to talking to you again, soon, Rolf. Take care, my Friend, and know that you are not alone. May God bless you, always!

    Every Good Wish,
    Mark
