The viral-marketing campaign for these amps has apparently crashed the site. I looked over the pictures earlier but no-workie now. There was a USA distributor link which included a link promising photos of beautiful young girls, too, which further emphasized the white-van feel. Other than the link to the Absolute Sound article on Chinese electronics manufacturing, it looks a lot like a white-van site, even if it's not.

Oops. Seems to be back up now.

Still guessing the original post was viral marketing though, but then I have an overactive cynic setting on my old-timer's brain.

    Hi,

I am in Shanghai, and very very new for Speakers and Hi-Fi equipment.

I just bought a local AMP 3 weeks ago, which I mentioned before. I am NOT a marketing guy. Just want to make sure the AMP and my future JBL 4333/4344/L300 Speakers can work well togather.

Recently, I dream to have a 4344, 4333 or L300, affortable JBL classic monitors/speakers, I am looking for those via website.

I want to know more in order to find and buy a good 4344, 4333 or L300 from stores or website in next 2-3 months. ASAP!

Need some ideas and help. Thanks.

They're legit, and "It's clearly a lot of electronics for $1600 but.." to paraphrase a popular reviewer, but it appears one can do better.

The design reeks of a poorly executed copy of Yamaha's HCA designs in the MX-2000 and MX-10000. I have an MX-2000 and it's 130WPC of HCA certainly has no lack of slam or muddy bass. It's a fast, articulate and wondrous amp to listen to.
