    15" driver

    hi. this 15" driver is for sale in sweden. i think it looks like jbl. seller dont know what it is exept it is a 15" fullrangedriver that weighs 7,5kg.

    can any help out?

    Hi Figge,

    I can't imagine that's a JBL.......they never had this felt covered frame edge.
    Maybe a Cervin Viagra or a Audax or.....??
    Ask the seller for a pic from the backside.....maybe show something more.

    I have never seen a stamped frame like that from JBL!

    the cast frame looks like a E Voice frame but the terminals don't.

    Some cheep speaker for OEM use......

    reason i asked in the first place is that i saw the pic and the guy wanted 13 bucks for it. and the cone with that shiny stuff in the centre looked lika a jbl fullrange, pa speaker. then u mentioned the felt around it. i realized it wasnt jbl. and then he mailed the back, and that does not look good!

    But certainly not something for hi-fi- either. It is probably a decent guitar speaker. The cast frame is way above average for that type of woofer.

    I'm with Widget here... not junk, but made for PA use.

    Can't recall for sure, but that basket kinda looks like a PAS or RCF/B&C... both of which make pretty decent stuff for the pro market.
