604 e:s. What enclosure?

I recently got my hands on a pair of 604 e:s. I'm trembling with excitement to hear what they sound like. As far as I understand they were widely used in recording studios. Time alignment and everything.
Now, I've tried to find info about what enclosures they used to be in but I haven't been very successful. Somebody in here knows, I'm sure.

Sold as an enclosed system, Altec put them in the 620 cabinet or equivalent for maximum bass extension. Searches here, and at the Great Plains Audio Altec User's forum and on Google will turn up information about that cabinet.
