    Directions Needed Please

To the tutorial a member did on re-foaming his LE14A, may have been in connection with a complete project?
I know I saw one dealing specifically with this driver.
I cannot find it for the life of me, only "boputnam"'s.
    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Anyone?
I'm almost certain I'm not imagining seeing this; it included photos too (like "boputnam's")
    I just cannot find it.

    Thanks again,
    Thomas

    Thank you!
    But that's "boputnam"'s thread still.
I will continue to search. As I mentioned, it dealt with the LE14A specifically and may have been in a thread sharing a total system restoration?

    Again, thank you,
    Thomas

Hmm, okay, I've posted a few quick shots when I redid a 2235 for my sub a few years ago, and did the 2214 woofers in my L100Ts last spring ... but not a blow by blow> Actually, from the few pairs I've done, it seems like they're all kind of the same, right, except, big speakers are easier than the 10 inchers that Bo redid in his thread ...

Mine are ready to go; I'll glue them up in the morning when it's quiet.
I had two LE14As fairly far apart serial # wise.
There's two things I can tell you:
!. I'll take 10"s with FOAM over anything with hardened Lansaloy &
    2. Cones, the application of Aquaplas and most importantly here, THE AMOUNT OF GLUE used on the Lansaloy surrounds from different runs of drivers IS NOT CONSISTENT
Tiny differences for sure, but one of these drivers had an old edge that was the OUTER SUSPENSION FROM HELL.
The first driver shed it's old surround with an eye dropper's worth of MEK and about 15 minutes
The second one took me the better part of several hours. The Lansaloy and the old cement were seemingly impervious to the MEK. It was a BIT&H! Funny thing is though, it's the one that suffered zero lift of Aquaplas at the outer edge. The "easy" one lost an inch or two.
OK though, it's under the surround so no harm, no foul.

I just wanted to look at the thread specific to this driver, couldn't remember the text or if there were any good ideas on technique.

    Thanks for your help,
    Thomas
