Does anyone know how many 250's of all the different versions were produced? Are the serial numbers any indication of that or just a running number over all the models at JBL at the time?

Well why not it's just one more pair...
4340's and 250ti's what an odd pair...
I dont have your answer , but noticed that you have 4340's and 250ti's...
can you write up a comparison of the 2 models ?
Some kind of happiness is measured out in miles
I need a few more weekends but yes, they are very different animals. My wife and I are selling our old starter house and I have the 4340's in a walk in closet, but will get them out this weekend. The new house has a place for a real theater (4340 land) and a big family room (250ti land). It just takes time...

Will I ever find a pair of 250Tis?
I rememebr when researching 250 there were at least 4 itereations, 250, 250ti, Jubillee, LE and maybe a seperate Euro version like the Jubilee. I do know ther are at least 4 XO, 250, 250ti, TIBQ and 1 more I think the LE has Charge coupled XO or was it the Jubilee. I have a 3 of the XO, 250, ti, TIBQ and a set of TIBQ which have been CC but I am having some issues and researching this
OT:
My rules for my 250s sets and b460....
Max 1 day driving to, spend nite in drive way of seller if need be, arms wrapped around new toys the whole time, 1 day home.
Many blankets for transport, I got 2 250 and 2 120 in the back of a Mazda 3 wagon/hatch back I was surprised on how much my brother's car would carry!!
Changing to Legacy Audio and started with a Silver Screen HD for my center between the 250TIs
