    Crossover setup for JBL 4647/2445?

I have some speakers I bought in a pawn shop. They are JBL 4647A that some one did a cobble job putting 2380A Horns on top (with 2445J drivers). Problem is, there is no crossover. I am thinking of two options, but other suggestions are welcome as well. I'd like to get these speakers working for now as cheap as possible. Then as I have the money get the better setup for them. Since the 2445's hate less than 500 Hz some crossover setup is neccesary.

    My Ideas thus far...

    1. I do have a Crate LS4-XO active crossover that I used in my karaoke system. I am considering the Harman/Kardon AVR-254 receiver because of the preamp output. Running the preamp into the crossover, then from crossover to bi-amp setup. Problem is I would need to buy 2 amps for this to work this way. Which is the way I want it in the long run, but I'd really like to get these speakers roaring through the house right now without a lot of $$$ to spend on it.

    2. Find passive crossovers to buy that go in the opening in the back of the cabinets. Problem with that is, it seems to be hard to find them. Does anyone know which models would work well for my setup? and the best place to look for them? Then I can use my Sony receiver that I have had for years, for now until I can afford a nicer one.

Again, if anyone can think of other options that may cost less, I am all open for it. I just want these things working...I haven't had them working properly since I had them as the diaphragms were blown when I got them (but I didn't know it)

    Thank You in Advance,

    Eric

Just thought of another idea for if I can't find passive crossovers that work. Would anyone happen to have a schematic or some sort with part numbers of the individual components of a JBL crossover that will work for my situation?

JBL 3110A would be a reasonable match.

Those seem to be hard to find. The ones I found were a lil pricey. Any other suggestions?

LOL, yeah, if it was a hobby, I would. But as of now its not really a hobby, just trying to get these speakers to function.
