    Cool Jbl L36

    Nice site everyone!

I'm a bit confused about something and perhaps one of you can help.

I've owned a pair of JBL Model L36 since my mid teens (48 now) I still like the way they sound so I have kept them all these years. In fact I was looking for a second pair on the net when I discover a series named L36 "Decade".

What is that series and are they any different than the "Model" L36?

    Thanks in advance.

There were L36, L36 Decades, and L36A. All were technically "Decades" even if not marked as such and all are functionally the same system. The only difference I can see was the change in the tweeter in the L36A.

At least three separate tech sheets are archived between this site's links page and JBL's archives:

". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers

Thank you very much for the clarification.
