Talking My 4344 crossovers - finished

Well phase one of my 4344 project is completed (he hopes... not tested yet); my crossovers are done. I made up some PCB blanks with the old etch resist pen, very crude but effective.

I have used Mills resistors, Hovland caps, local electronic shop air coils (tweeked to correct inductance) and an Alpha-Foil copper foil inductor.

This crossover is only for the MF, HF and UHF drivers as I intend to bi-amp when finished.

A BIG HUGE thanks to Ian Mackenzie..... for hints, circuit diagrams, and where to get bits assistance. Also I believe I owe Greg Timbers (JBL) thanks as well for the redesign of the circuit for us guys.

Yes it is true that G.T. did send me the necessary voltage drives. I'm the one who wasted an entire weekend with a circuit analysis package to come up with an equivalent voltage drive. I also did the 4333 and 4355. I've decided that I'm not going to bother doing the 4315.

I could have been doing something worthwhile, like listening to a pair of 4430's instead.

    Anyway, enjoy!

They do look quite nice and you have excellent components there.
