    Audio Magick in NY

On a recent trip to NY, a friend offered up his studio for folks to gather & make some noise while I was in town. Beautiful studio, really great atmosphere & drool-worthy gear.

Guess what was hiding behind some grille cloth, up in the custom-made soffits? It's the house engineer's (George Marshall) old standby, his go-to reference speakers.

    Enjoy.

That Lecter dude was animated (mouth guard dropped) & spoke creepy phrases.

The Marshall amp I played through was an 18W Plexi...really unique. Boogies & Line 6s, too.

I picked up a couple of cute little amps on my trip, an Estey (~3.5 watts/class A/all tube/~1966) and a Dean Markley.
