Rick, thanks for conveying this sad news to us. I wish I'd had a chance to visit with John last year when I was in Rohnert Park to see another old friend.

I want to echo the thanks to you for being a good friend to John, especially over these last few weeks. I'm sure John appreciated it.

Rest in peace John, your suffering is at an end. Say hello to John Eargle, Bart Locanthi, Ed May, Bill Thomas, and JBL himself. I trust the music will be heavenly.

Rest in peace John . You have a left behind a great legacy .

Rick , you have my sincere thanks for being there for your ( our ) friend .

I think it helps ease the guilt ( a bit ) that we couldn't all wave a magic wand and just make it better for our bud .

    Bye John

I had no idea he was so close ... truly a sad moment, but -
he's not in pain now, and that's always a blessing.
Thanks for your help Rick, and for keeping us informed.

Yeah, thanks, Rick. It seems so fast - first word we got was only a few weeks ago. Tragic.

I hope it was fast for him, too.

    Rest in peace my friend!

I am truly blessed to have known John! He was a great guy, great musician and loved his JBL's and all who shared his passion! I feel very fortunate that I was able to see him before his passing. He will be sorely missed! My sincere condolences to his family and friends!
