    Hartsfield Repros

Has anyone ever had a chance to demo any of these Classic Audio repros?

    http://classicaudioloudspeakers.com/...=25&content=26

Or does anyone know anything about these, or have any comments to offer?

They appear to be using custom made MF and HF drivers with beryllium diaphrams.... Thanks, Shaan

Interesting that they have 1" exit Truextent Beryllium drivers. I thought the 1 inchers were still a ways off, and you'd think Truextent would release 242x dias first due to market size/demand.

The thread says 4" diaphragms with 2" exit. John Wolff, owner/founder, is member jw5115 here on the forum and has his business in Brighton, Mi, about 50 miles West of Detroit. The thread also has all the info re contact, etc.

Re-read and there is a 1" exit Beryllium driver, though I missed the first time it does not state made by Truextent.

I heard a pair a couple of years ago, They sounded good to me at the show. Just like every other speaker you should do a sit down yourself. You know the deal can't depend on what others think. Too personal a decision.
