Hi Figge,

The L300, the consumer brother of the 4333A uses LE15, LE85 (2420) , the 2312 horn with 2308 lens as HL 92 combo. The main thing is the top smokedglass plate (Widget and Bo, also Ian know what the glass is for )
Some years ago I owned 4430 and compared them with my first JBLs (a pair of DIY 4333B).
They sound different.....the 4430 more open and "invisible".

Never saw a 2344 ofered with an 077/2405 option. I would go with one on the 10 inch midranges instead of the 2405. A 10" and 2344 are a nice sounding combo.
