    Jbl 4311wx?

I have a pair of JBL 4311 Control Monitors serial # 14192 & 14195. I know there was the "A" & "B" series but these say 4311 "WX" on the rear. Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the A,B & WX series? Many thanks! Mark

    4311 WX

I have been informed that the 4311"WX" has more data in it beside the Oiled Walnut finish. Because after the WX there is no "A" or "B" these are orginal 4311's which have the Alnico V magnet. A rare set indeed.

    Shameless Promote

Mr. Mills, your multiple Forum efforts in shamelessly promoting your eBay auction are real lame. You are a trying to mislead the unknowing.

You wasted the time of two of the most knowledgable on this forum, and should be banished to a soundless sound-proofed room!

    Just my opinion.

That's where Mr. Mills found them - he was keeping warm beneath them having been tossed there first.

Yeah, hopefully Don will toss two of these three threads in the trash too.

I think I'll give the "thread rating" feature a try
    I'll give this one a 2...

    I'm with you on that.

A two is generous, but even in Mr Mills shameless promote he shook some good research out of the trees.

Regrettably, we all unwittingly furthered his cause.

    Two it is!

Yeah, someone visiting the forum for the first time and seeing all the threads devoted to 4311's might erroneously think alnico 4311's are "all that" Some poor guy with 4311B's won't be able to sell his
And what about the poor sot who has the "super secret spy shit" model, the 4311BWX?

Max Smart (aka Mark Mills)? No worries - he's looped on Agent99 and thinks his Shoe Fone still doesn't work (back to that WX in ears syndrome...)

Hell Yeh I'll trade a pair of 4311BWX's for a deal with Agent 99 anytime.

Indeed, indeed. Since the design was only half-cooked. Fruition of the basic design was not reached (IMHO) until the 4412 / 4412A / LSR stages.
BTW, where's that trask can...I'll take 'em!
