    JBL Signature D123 speakers

We recently moved into an older house (built in 1958) that has speakers installed in the ceiling of what was the previous owners entertainment room.

The speakers are JBL Signature Series D123. Can any one tell me what I have? Since they are JBLs I am sure they are quality products. Thnaks in advance.

Slimmed-down extended-range speakers intended for in-wall mounting or smaller cabinets. Eventually morphed into the low-range driver in the infamous L100 Century and otherwise credited as a pretty darn good guitar-amp speaker. Lookie here: http://www.lansingheritage.org/html/...-comp/d123.htm
". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers
