Is 902-16b and the driver in 902-16hf the same driver or is there a difference between them?

Hi,
Cute horn !
- It'll be the same driver body as any 902 /though perhaps a different "lighter" diaphragm was once used to get a bit more UHF.Originally Posted by taskvig
- It's all a "moot point" though / since you need new diaphragms for the ones you presently own and GPA only sell the two versions of the softer aluminum diaphragm . One version is 8 ohms & the other is 16 ohms.
- I suggest buying the 8 ohm type. This will allow your tweeters to pull more current from your amp and therefore be "louder" in relation to your midrange drivers .
- IMO, you should be using 288s below these 902s . Spend the money & buy some 288-8H(s) from GPA .
>< cheers
But 288 will not fit my MR994!? Is the 288 much better than the 908?
The thing with the 902b is that I will get a pair of working 902b with some A8s
Who cares! Spend more money ! Buy drivers & horns !Originally Posted by baldrick

Seriously, the 288 has much better midrange than the smaller 802 or 902 ( comparing them on relative horn sizes ) .
