classic electronics auction with altec catalogs, Mebane, NC

hello all. i found an auction in Mebane, NC and it's all vintage radios, tubes, speakers, etc... also many catalogs etc. one of the lots in the 200's looks like a binder full of altec catalogs and data. it may help to add to the altec library... see lot # 247

lot 268 and 269 have more catalogs:

finally. i'm working on deals for large lots of older jbl pro and tad units. just looking to see what kind of interest is out there. pretty sure there's a good demand for jbl here ;-) but what about tad? units should be new and selling below dealer

sorry if off topic, the main reason for this post was to see if anyone can grab the altec manuals. they may provide more info lost in the altec fire

Dang, someone's been busy just documenting that stuff. And I'm just down the road without any $$.....like I needed more stuff anyway.

I can certainly see the clouds of vultures circling....

    Cheers,

    David

Wow - lots of goodies and history in that auction, but I especially love how amongst all the audio equipment, there's a mine sweeper just very nonchalantly included in the auction's offerings .

    Best,
    - Mike
