    Newly Acquired L-100 Centuries

I have just acquired a pair of L-100 Centuries for my collection and have ordered new foam grills and tweeter rings, my question is, has anyone used the glue on domes for the tweeters ? One has a very slight dimple. Do these glue on domes interfere with the tweeter in any way ? Thanks in advance for any info on this.

It seems likely that they would add mass to the tweeter, probably causing it's response to change.

I'd suggest replacing the tweeter or living with the dimple. I have seen the dimples carefully pulled out with suction. Use a stout drinking straw and use a vacuum pump or vacuum cleaner. Rig it so that you can control the amount of suction by using a leaky connection... hard to avoid anyway.

My thoughts exactly about adding mass to the dome. Another question, are the badges metal or plastic ? I see plastic repros on the bay.
    Again, thanks in advance.

The originals badges were metal with Velcro® hooks glued on the back.
    Out.
