    New horns (Fostex H325?) for 2420 (4333)

The Easter Bunny fortuned me with the luck of getting hold of a pair of what seems to be Fostex H325.
    W 60 cm
    H 12 cm
    D 31,8 cm without throat

    They are in fair condition.

Soundwise it seems like an improvement. Better connection between midrange and bass, less yelling and more well defined midrange. I'm not sure if i can spot a slight roll off in the top mid range....

It seems like the H325 are equally efficient to the original 2312/ 2308 horn/lens.

Anybody who has tried the same, or likewise combo ?
I'd also like to know if anyone has done measurement of frequency response for H325, maybe in comparison with 2312/2308.

    Best regards, Erik

    Hi Erik,

    - I don't have any response graphs for your horns ( nor do I own a set to measure ).

    - Still, take a look at this thread for a bit of backgrounding on a studio monitor that incorporated a variant of your horn.

    - As you'll see, one of our moderators has pleasant memories of listening to those monitors ( while driven by a Fostex driver ) .

    >< cheers
