    New guy needs info

Hi all! I'm new here but have browsed the forums. My brother made a cabinet for me with a "vintage" 15" Altec Lansing speaker for my guitar amp. I can't seem to find any info on this speaker on the lansing heritage website. It's has 423 on the magnet, and has a cast aluminum frame. I would appreciate any help, thanks!

You may want to pm Earl K. I recall he had some experience with MI line from this era.

    421A Ceramic magnet, 100 watts, 35-8000 hz.

Mostly used for bass but does not mean it can not work with guitar.

I originally thought it was a 421A, but my brother said it was a 423, and 423 is imprinted on the magnet, you can barely see it in the first pic. I did use it as an extension cab for my Fender RocPro 1000 (100W output), and it does sound nice with a guitar.
