That's a beast! Looks like a nice piece. How much did you pay for it? Ebay?

    Congrats.

    There's a good review here... http://www.stereophile.com/solidpoweramps/100parasound/

I don't understand why they put rack mount hardware on the face. There's no way in heck you could hang that 100lb amp in a rack suspended by just 4 screws in the faceplate!

If it's made well enough you can . All the big Yamaha amps I've had can be rack mounted from just the front with 4 screws. You should see the thickness of the metal on that front plate...

I'm always leary of a seller saying something only has X amount of hours on it... like an engine, an amplifier or whatever. If it doesn't have an hour meter, how would they know the hours unless they wrote them down everytime the item was used.

I actually wasn't joking about the hour meter. Some electronic components do have hour meters. I had an Alesis ADAT recorder and a sony DAT recorder that had non-resettable hour meters. They were for maintanence mostly but sure they did come in handy for determining resale value. Zero hours!
