That's a beast! Looks like a nice piece. How much did you pay for it? Ebay?
Congrats.
There's a good review here... http://www.stereophile.com/solidpoweramps/100parasound/
I don't understand why they put rack mount hardware on the face. There's no way in heck you could hang that 100lb amp in a rack suspended by just 4 screws in the faceplate!
1034.00. I bought it on monday and I had it at my front door tuesday . they have one on audiogon for 1450- videogon 1200 and craigslist in wasghington for 1200. I think I really got a great deal. unit is in mint condition less than 50 hrs on the amp. and boy do my jbls [SING]
Does it have an hour meter on it?
post some pics of the beast when u can.
I'm always leary of a seller saying something only has X amount of hours on it... like an engine, an amplifier or whatever. If it doesn't have an hour meter, how would they know the hours unless they wrote them down everytime the item was used.
I actually wasn't joking about the hour meter. Some electronic components do have hour meters. I had an Alesis ADAT recorder and a sony DAT recorder that had non-resettable hour meters. They were for maintanence mostly but sure they did come in handy for determining resale value. Zero hours!
