That is the best method I have found so far and is exactly what I have done to date. I am interested in taking it apart a little further and just don't know how, or need something else to do it.

After much searching I have found a solution to obtaining precise time information from a subwoofer without high frequency content eliminating much of the guesswork for time alignment, integration and crossover/delay work.
I have been horsing around with it with TEF and it does work, and not only for subs.
Hopefully the links work, read carefully, in order. The key for me was in the Richard Heyser quote and I didn't quite get it at first.
