I have EON10 G2 and EON15 G2, so when the G3 models appeared I was very interested in them. I went to see and hear them at Sam Ash. Ash didn't have them and was still selling the G2s.

I went to Guitar Center. While still selling the G2 line, it also had the EON515 (G3), so after some convincing the guy demoed a pair. It looks much better, sounds about the same, has the same power but seems to play a bit louder and cleaner, and it's much, much easier to lug around, mainly due to the enclosure redesign.
    Out.

I have a couple of samples. The sub is not far off the PRX sub. Very light.
The 515 is light, sounds good. On spec it is not that much different than the 315. 3 ch mixer, and so-called Crown amp don't justify the extra cost, IMO.
