forum pal of mine has these speakers.
he said he blown up his high frequency drivers.

i think there es[ecially made for this speaker?
or is it a common one thats in there.

what kind of tweeter is in there. and is it replace able(dont know how to write this word)

S109 Aquarius 4 and S119 appear similar, but are some 15 years apart
in manufacturing... S109 -appears- to use LE20 from descriptions and
diagrams (check jbl.com under product support). Probably a -1 or ??
(w/o the LE20 grille).

S119 appears to have been made 1990-91, and uses four "laminate cone"
dome tweeters for the HF.

i have both the S119's and the S109's. The S109's use an le-20-1 while the S119's use 4 laminate domes, one at each corner. The S109's produce a better sound in my opinion.
