    LE 15A Refoaming

    Hello forum

I have a pair LE 15A with the lansalloy surrounds. The surrounds are bad, I removed them, cleand the basket and saw, there is a step up to the middle in the basket where the surrounds has ben fixed. Do I need a special refoam kit for this speaker ? Sorry, can send no pics.
    Thanks for any help.

Yep, you are right. It is normal with that old basket.
If you glue the surround fully plane, where is the problem?

Be careful, cone kits are long gone! 2215 cone kits only fit after basket modification.

Wenn Du die Sicke flächenbündig verklebst, ist das kein Problem.
Pass auf, es gibt keine Ersatzteile mehr. Die 2215 cone kits passen auch nur mit einer Modifikation am Korb.
