    I have been an Altec/Jbl fan for years. Judging by the way this group has grown over the years I'm not alone. The more I hear some of these new speakers, the more I like them. I believe sound and optical preferences are highly subjective and dependent on the environment where they are used.

    I could go on but thats good for now. Hopefully I can add some value to the group.

    Ohio is a lovely spot where I spent about 20 years of my young life near Toledo and years later got my terminal degree at CWRU in Cleveland. It's a tough state in the winter, though. I don't miss that.

    Even though I live in SoCal, the home of JBL, my first JBLs were bought right there in Woodville, Ohio. Ah memories!

    What quadrant of the Buckeye state are you from?

    pretty well distributed between CLE and Toldeo,
    most of them are close to Sandusky...
