    Plate amps

Is the 250 watt plate amp from Parts Express a reasonable way to power a JBL Sub1500?
I don't needs lots of output, I just want a subtle (but clean and reliable) VLF support.
Any comments? Other suggestions for plate amps?

    Thanks,

    Tom

    Hello Tom

I use them with Le-14a's and they work for me. Use them in subs from 50Hz down.
