    JBL L vs. Ti

    Hello all.

I'm seeking for a center speaker that would fit with my Ti5000. Of course, Ti center was always an alternative but since these thingies are pretty rare around here, I was thinking of L series too. It also has a nice woodpanels, similar to Ti series. I believe the midrange (705H) units are the same too. Maybe even the tweeters (050Ti).

Any thoughts, experiences, ideas would be appriciated!

    I also attached the pics.

What's the model # on that one ? Looks like it might be a better match than the old CL505 I'm using for my front 4410s.

That`s the model name. L-center. I`m attaching the catalogue screenshot.
Does anybody have the whole catalogue from this year / series?

It actually might be a good choice, it`s havier than Ti (10 vs 8,7 kg), practically identical drivers and even slightly better frequency response!

Looks like that might be a european model ...y'all get stuff over there that we don't get in the states!
But the wood sides and edging looks very nice!

The TI-center is a deluxe model, It got 100% the same tweeter and midrage, but the crosower are different. The cabinet are real wood.

Both models are "made in Denmark" in the 90'ties.

The center speaker sounds realy good.

Yeah, Best Wishes for the New Year!

It`s true - the sound is superb. And it fits to my Ti5000 like a condom.

Any suggestions for the subwoofer - for cinema purposes only?
Since I did't find any interesting product from "vintage generation" - I was thinking of LS series.

Any ideas/thoughts or should I open a new thread?
