    Jbl Le-10-101

    Anyone know much about these.

On a whim and a nudge, I bought them.

Now I need to figure out what to use them in once they get here.

    Ha Ha!

More then likely that would be the use.

If these actually model up like an LE10A does in winisd I like what I see.

    Hi Kegger,

    Anyone know much about these?
    - In 5 or 6 years of hanging out at various LHF forums, I've never seen accurate , published TS numbers ( for this le10 variant ) .

    - My guess is it's an le10a voice-coil married onto a 2121a cone . If my guess is correct the published ( le10a ) parameters will be off by quite a bit . It'll be more a mid-bass transducer ( than a real le10a ) .

    - I'd recommend sending those units to Gordon W for refoaming and parameter testing ( or buy yourself Woofer Tester 3 and do the measurements yourself / to keep this all in the DIY realm ) .

    - FWIW; you'll likely need to add mass to those cones to get them to act as bonafide le10a woofs . Again, Gordon can do this for you .

    Thanks Earl,

Yep have access to 2 different Woofer tester 3's, when they do get refoamed
I'll take the measurements an post the results. I should be able to refoam them.
