LX 55 Rating

I've noticed LX55's are sold at a decent price, and was wondering how
these stack up in JBL's loudspeaker history. Also what are the going
rates for L100's in good shape. I have about $600 to spend, was
wondering whats out there for vintage JBL's in that budget. Thanks

LX55's are a real entry-level with stamped-metal-frame speakers.

The LX series driver's weren't the best, but the cabs were excellent. Very well made and with some more modern design elements similar to the XPL series of the same period (efforts to reduce diffraction). But you can do a lot better than LX55's for $600. What are you looking for size-wise ? Have you checked out the 43 and 44 series ? Lots of stuff in there in your price range, as are the lower end models of the XPL and Ti line.

The 4 I'm after are the 4333a, 4312, L100 or 4311. Can any of these
