    Wall thickness 4435?

    Hi you 4435 owners!

Could you tell me the thickness of material used for the 4435 cab?

    Thanks for help!

Port size is 4.125 inch (10,5 cm) dia and 5 inch (12,7 cm) length. Right?

    Hi Guido,

If you tell me exactly what you want to know, I can figure it out.
Please let me a few hours if I have to open the cabinet for measurements.

    Thanks Hans Peter!

I just need the wall thickness of the cab. I think it is made of 25mm wood but I'm not sure.

Then I would like to know if this port size is right:
Port size is 4.125 inch (10,5 cm) dia and 5 inch (12,7 cm) length

Absolutely! I am very interested in drawing up as many of the vintage JBL enclosures as possible.

    Hi Guido,
as requested from Giskard and others which PM'd me, I will post the complete drawings soon.
I will begin with your request for the pedestal......
It's made from solid square wood with 40,5 x 40,5 mm (about 1 1/2"). It's formed like "U" and open to the backside of the cab.
From the front edge (without grille) it's 23mm back, from the sidewalls 25mm.At the backside it ends 3mm before backwall.

more will follow as ACAD file (hope you can read)

BTW: the speaker is built very simple from 19mm chipboard and divided to two chambers exactly in the middle.
