    What is better?

    Hy Guys.
At first for the People in the Forum my English is bad
But there is a Question, and I don´t know what I should do.
I have a JBL TI 5000 and I`m in love with it.
But there is a Men in my Village who has a JBL 4412 Studio Monitor. And I listen it. At the Momment I heard it, Iám in love with that Sound to. So I spoke with him, and he told me, he can order a 4412 for me. It is so he says new. It costs about 700 Dollar per Speaker.
So my Question, what is real better, my TI 5000 or the 4412 Monitor.
From the Sound the Monitor is for me the better one, but I can`t say that, because the CD Player and the Amplifier of his 4412 is much better then my Componnents on the TI. I habe a Denon PMA2000 Amplifier and a Maranz SA15S1 Cd Player. He listen with the 4412 with a Luxman M03 and C03, and has a Very expensive Raysonic CD Player.
Schould I buy a 4412. Or is with my Componnents the TI better?
    Anyone knows this two Speakers?
    Please answer in simple English!
    Thanks for help

Not familiar with the Ti 5000, but the 4412 is out of production/no longer being made ... The following brochure is from 1987 -

    http://www.jblpro.com/pub/obsolete/4412.pdf

That said, there are some fans of the model 4412 here - and
some folks also like the model 4410 .
    The 4412 had a 12 inch woofer, the 4410 has a 10 inch woofer.

Is the 4410 the same then the 4313? In the late eighties I listen a 4313 and it was wounderful.Because I think the 4313 had a other Woofer and Tweeter. I remember on my old 4313, it was not the most punch, but the clearest Base I ever heard.

The 4313 is the pinnacle of the small monitor development of these times.

There are a number of versions of the "4313" speakers.
I say that because it depends on which 4313 you are talking about.
The 4313B, an improved version of that speaker, is VERY highly rated by some of the members here.

No i don´t mean the 4313B. Only 4313. I think this is the older Model. Iám so stupit. I sold my 4313 in the early 90tis. Because i lookt in the Internet, and I can`t found a 4313 or a 4313b. Only hard used Models in bad condition. Anywhere in this Forum who knows a Internet Adress where I can find a 4313? I think the 4313 is more interesting for me, because the 4410 had a Titanium Tweeter, and I remember on the 4313 Twewter, it was so I think better. More harmonic....
When I find a 4313 is there a original foam Surround from Jbl avalable?

    Thanks for help

Some of the confusion my be due to several sites still listing the 4412A as "in-stock" and "available": http://www.planetdj.com/i--4412A

The 4412A is the studio (industrial) version of the 4412 with black vinyl veneer as opposed to wood, and no pots to adjust mid- or tweeter level. What little information I could find on the Ti 5000 seems to suggest it has some version of the LE14 (320mm?? is what one German review shows) as the woofer though the double mid-ranges look a bit odd. I don't know enough about the Ti 5000 to answer since it looks like a Euro-only model, and I don't read German. However, as a 4412A owner, I like the 12" monitors an awful lot, I just don't consider them a real aspirational JBL model. As I've mentioned before, I actually find I prefer listening to the L5 and L7 (which would seem to share a kinship with the Ti 5000 in some ways), and I'm still quite partial to the ancient 15" 030 2-way system.

Thanks alot for information. Yes the midrage dryver from the TI 5000 is produced and tuned in Germany from Bären Stark. Jbl told in 1992 it is at the Momment the best Midrange dryver all over the world. And I have to say the Voices on the TI are very Transparent and powerful.
But the TI is a floor Standing Speaker, and I think the near field sound of a Bookshelf Monitor with a 12`Woofer is wounderful. I heard the 4412 and the Wind of the woofer blows me in my Face. It is great.
Another Question: Have you ever heard the JBL 4425? And what you say is the Different between the 4425 and 4412. What will you prefear?
