    Altec 604C rebuild

OK, so this pair of drivers I recently acquired is 16 ohm and they will need to be rebuilt since one driver has a torn cone. I plan on using GPA for the rebuild.

    Questions:
    1. Should I consider doing both LF and HF drivers in 8 ohms since the other speakers in this HT system are 8 ohm?

    2. What 8 ohm crossover networks would be availible; I think the factory cross for these is 1500 or 1600 HZ; right?

I think you can make this decision and answer those questions if you are willing to spend the time studying Jeff Markwart's page.
