IIRC, its a tube unit and mono. Also known as the Marantz 1. Did it come with a separate power supply on an umbilical?

Old nice stuff. Put it in your museum. Not up to the sound quality of today.

If you don't have the room, just send it to me. I have a place for it.

Had one once and flipped it at the flea market (70's). Transactions involving it are so rare it's difficult to get market information on it. Performance does not matter; it has been a darling of collectors for more than 30 years. Nice find.

Played the 1-C tonite with 1 of my MC 75's through my JBL Olympus

    MAN did it sound good!

I can see why they cost so much. 2 of those would sound way better than my beloved MX 110

    Hi Superbee,

Congrats on a nice sale. Went for more than that $1500 offer! A nice looking, great condition unit. Is it going out of the country?

Can you provide the dimensions of the wood case, especially the inner cutout dimensions and where the faceplate mounts? I'm curious as to whether it would fit a Marantz 7 preamp that I have. If it does, we should talk .

Nice vintage craftmanship. Back then, they really built quality into the product, as if they cared a great deal for what they did.
