Schematic for Altec 1592A?

Hi All: I just discovered this forum. I have an altec lansing 1592A mixer. I use it as a preamp in my home studio, to power a beyerdymanic ribbon mic. I love the 1592A, but it has started popping, like something is shorting out somewhere. I know nothing of repairs, but have a friend that could work on it if he had a schematic. Any clue where to find one? I have searched the net to no avail. Thanks. Walter
