On this website in the Altec library...under plans

    http://www.lansingheritage.org/html/...ltec-plans.htm

From there the '70's plans has a plan for the 620 cabinet, if my memory serves me ok...that is the cabinet.

the 1974 enclosures has 2 plans for the duplex speaker.

Here is a custom enclosure. There is a link on the page to download his plans.

If you are making cabinets, please take picts and post them for us all to oooh and ahhh over.

    Steve,

Thanks for the links. I don't know if I'll build them any time soon but it's something I've been thinking about lately after building some crossoverless single driver speakers. BTW what is that in your avatar?

So how would you cook those in Maui? Here in NC I would dry rub them and slow cook em on the smoker grill.

I rub them with oil, sprinkle on some seasoning, put them breast down on my Weber and toss some smoke chips on the coals and 45-50 min. later 2 chickens done....as we say " good grinds" or "broke da mouth".

I actually found that picture awhile back and liked it. Reminded me of my old hot tub days and days of cooking for parties with 4-6 Webers going.

For x-overs for the 604, Bill H. at Great Plains audio has a new x-over for them.
    He even has new 604's
He is the one to send your speakers to for fixing also

    http://www.greatplainsaudio.com/2_way.html

Some on the web site have played with making other 604 x-overs too.

    Enjoy
