    A couple of questions:
    (1) What are the dimensions of your finished cabinets?
    (2) What is the approximate weight of each cabinet?
    (3) Are those horns 2312/HL92 or 2307/HL91?
    (4) What model woofer?
    Hi RK,

-dimensions are h=72,5cm (28 1/2 "), W=44cm (17 1/2"), D=44cm (17 1/2"). The gap between the cab trimm and the woofer basket is only 1/2" so I need to construct a special grille frame.(pics will come)
    - weight is about 46kg each cab
    - the horns are 2312
    - the woofers are 2226H (with a spare woofer I will do a test with changing the cone edges to foam edges ,well knowing that the spider is a stiffer one versa the 2235)

Absolutely outstanding. This is precisely the same thing I want to do to my 4647 boxes. Like the other posters, I hope mine turn out similarly or close to it! I planned on creating the beveled edge with a router. Hope this is a good idea? Heres a pic of the victims, right now they are "beat up JBL black" and begging for such treatment.
