LE25-2 Tweeter in place of an LE25-4: Differences?

Just wondering if an LE25-2 tweeter out an L100 will work in a L36A, which is supposed to have an LE25-4? DCR is approximately the same, and the appearance is nearly identical, one to the other. Is there some differences I am not aware of, and should I hold off until I am able to get a LE25-4?

    LE25-2/4

Identical performance - I think they even take the same re-cone kit. Not quite as snazzy visually, basic black. Could check the tech info threads at the end of the forum "table of contents" here for double ck. Advice: when in doubt, re-cone. It's about $90 parts and labor at a JBL pro shop, kits are still available. Will last another 30 years. Just had one done - like new, worth it. Mike
