    Yes...that is very sad indeed.

    He was an incredible musician, and an inspiration.

    I understand he was a really nice guy too.

    Saw him at the Concord CA Pavillion in about 1992. He opened for the Allman Bros. and really laid it down! Very sad news!
    Past practice indicates future behavior.
