    416-8b cubic feet

Altec say's 7.5 cubic feet is optimum for a 416 so why is a model 19 to my best guss 10.50-11.00 cubic feet? now i am going to have to build some 7.5 cuft cabinets tuned to about 35hz i had my doubts about the tractrix horns i use being only 10" dia 400hz there a lot smaller than 511 or 811 but sound so much better and they actually image very well my 811 did not image at all so when it comes to cabinet size is bigger really better?
