    New amp for studio monitor

I am planning to change my amp. I would like to go for consumer products instead of Professionnal amp.
I have and had tested UREI, AMCRON, JDF Audio (Kinoshita) on my JBL 4338. This is the wayfor me now to go for nicest cosmetic and equivalent or better performance.
At this stage I would like to know which of these unit is a good option on second hand market :

    Mark Levinson ML331.
    Krell KSA100s.
    Goldmund Mimesis 28+.
    Regards Stephane

The "Threshold" would be my choice. Its a sexy looking beast with Nelson Pass behind it !!!!

I thought the Goldmund is a good way. The class A amps sound great, except during the french hot summer.

I agree a hot summer can be a warm situation in class A territory.

    Sweet !

    Stephane,

In a different league to 99% of the stuff out there. Go for it ! Just read some reviews - top marks. Could be a little over-kill for those little bookshelf speakers though

Mind you , it will keep the chill out of the room.
