    4313B midrange

Hi hope you are all well, recently found a pair of 4313b's the le5-9 on one is shot I have a pair of 2104h's looks to me to be an ok swap? yeah or neigh?
these are the white woofer verzion and look very nice not dirty as most of the poor white comes become. the shiny 066's one was smashed
and I pulled it out. not bad cabs a little light sanding and a little oil should be good looking soon. this pair came from cbs studios and the cbs id property tags are present. I plan on using them with a Marantz 1020 that I have in a lovely walnut case. looking for the tuner to go with that.

The blue face jbls are so good, never will forgive myself for selling the 4350a's. So when we found these I was very pleased to have another set of JBLs from the best series in my mind ever made.

    LE5 Matrix

    http://audioheritage.csdco.com/vbull...ead.php?t=5706

... matrix doesn't include 104-series or 2104 (pro use, not sold separately, ),
but the 104x curves are there.

To answer your question, it looks (to me) like "no" is the answer (2105H would be equivalent
    other than the connectors):

... but you have them... why not try them for grins

FWIW, I've never seen a 4313B with a white cone...
not that it should matter sound-wise. ... there's another matrix somewhere... (LE10/LE111/...)

yeah... I've been tempted to just buy a pair and measure them myself.

"the latest version of the legendary 2105."
"I don't have any other technical specifications."

Nicely word-smithed sales pitch, anyway. I've pointed you at the technical specifications.
Do what you like (which I've also suggested) , and let us know how you like it.

No. I believe you when you say that you have a LE10H in your 4313b... I would
simply surmise that the 4313b might not have been born that way. Someone else might like
some 4313 pics though (someone -always- likes pictures)

I have (roughly) similar L96's that I've been quite happy with, & have heard (but not
lived with) 4313's... very nice. I hope that you enjoy your's -grumpy

Hey Dave, its Nancy , sorry I had to make a new login.thats what I get for not poping in sooner. do you still have the 4430s ? what else are you enjoying these days? I still have the modern L890s , which I love.
when comparing all of them, I like the new ones for more serious music.
I keep expecting to tune in here and see a monster project with the l890 driver plus a 12 or 15 added ect.

So you think the white cone was added by a smart cbs tech? not oem

    Hi Nancy

Yep, still running 4430's as main (and an LCR trio of Arkansas unmentionables for
    when the mood strikes).

    Just found this: "4313B LE10H LE5-9 O66 3113B 1983"
in JBL's Studio Monitor Ref. Chart... so what the hell do I know (just that I've never,
until now, seen a 4313/4313b with a white cone... )... so I guess it could very well
    be stock that way.
