NEW TWEETER FOR MY 250 ti clone

    Hello

I always found the 035Ti on my 250 clone was the weekest part of the system with not very extended treble and high medium too harsh .

After looking and asking about tweeters and no real answers , I finally decided to buy a pair of Aurum Cantus G2Si Ribbon Tweeter ( 92.00 $ each ) . Thay rae 4 ohms also .

    I just exchange them again the 035 Ti ( let you remember I have a xlp200 Xover ! )

Change was Great . Voice are sweet not harsh any more and treble are really extended and very refined . ( I can now get back to the famous rudy van gelder recorded sound on blue note and prestige jazz records ) .

Also this works much better with My KT88 AMP BI AMP .

    Gerard .

Please, post a couple pictures here that give us the overall view of your speakers/system. Thanks!

    Hey Gerard,
Please refresh my memory on the components used in your DIY 250Ti project. I can't seem to find the original thread.

    XPL-200 x-over you say? + ?

    Thanx.

Yes, please loose the cover up. It's better to swim without.
