    Question 4313B Crossover

I am new to the forum. I need to build up old 4313B cabinets. The specific driver components have been relatively easy to procure but I am having trouble with crossovers. There are several alternatives available on Ebay but I am not sure how particular to be in the choice. The 4313B calls for 1 and 4 mhz crossovers. I have access to L166 at 1 and 6 mhz or L50 at 0.8 and 3 mhz or L110 at 1 and 4 mhz. How much does this matter given the drivers? Would it just be better to go with currently available crossvers without L pads? Any advice would be appreciated because I am out of my league on this one.
    Thanks!

Should we gather you are not inclined to solder up a set from scratch?
I mean no insult, just asking as lots of folks aren't wired that way ...

Rick here's a link to the schematics of the L110, L96 and 3113B (which is the one for your 4313B's:
    http://audioheritage.org/vbulletin/s...ighlight=3113B

It's kind of hard to read since it is written out.
A suggestion from member 4313B is to build mirror image L96 cabinets instead of 4313B cabinets. The L96 cabinet response is about 5 Hz lower than that of the 4313B cabinet.

I follow with Heather to ask if you are willing to build up a network from scratch. The 4313B is such a nice system it would pay off to go with the original network component specs.

If a build-up is not the plan, then the L110 network seems to be the best match. Bear in mind that the mid and high driver set of the L110 is different from the 4313 so you will not have an optimum network installed.

Finally, if you go with the L110 network I highly recommend, at the very least, that you buy a 0.3mH coil and solder it into the L110 tweeter network as shown in the 4313 schematic below. This will add some needed low end roll off to the tweeter.

    starting point?

I have a pair of N112 networks in the storage room for yet another 3 way variant. I think I also have a pair of 4412A

They are complete and maybe only small changes need to be made to allow your DIY to get off the ground?

    Look here to compare:
