The price is a bit steep but these are phenomenal - they weigh over 100lbs and it's basically two separae mono amps in one chassis. I have the smaller 2002M and absolutely love it.

That's exactly what my older Crest P3500 has, (though not as much power) - two huge power transformers and associated caps. 'Really heavy, but it definitely has "suds".
