    JBL L220

Hi guys! My name is Alex I'am from Romania and I need some help concerning a pair of JBL L220. I found them at one man that had a container with speakers delivered from Japan and L220 had the suspension rutten. He askes 2000$ for them and at the bottom are little scratched from the transportation.Everything is original on them. Please tell me what should I do?
The guy selles them with new susspension mounted and they sound incredible.
    many thanks
    bye

    Welcome, Alex

I imagine JBLs are hard to find in Romania, especially older models like the L220.

If that's $2000 US, then it's too much. If it's lei, then that's about $760 US, and I say buy them now! You may not get another chance for classic JBLS, and if you do see a better model later, I think you can sell them to another collector for more money to buy what you want.

I don't know about in Romania, but here in the USA, much better JBLs can be purchased for half that money.

You can also build better designs for substantially less....

Wow, wish I was in CA!

Great deal on all that stuff.

    Wonder why no picture?

I guess he spent all his money on vintage audio and not a camera.
